Fall Family Camp

Camp George ThomasThis camp is open to scouts and their families.

This is an excellent opportunity to get to know your fellow scouts. We caravan from Roosevelt to Camp George Thomas. An evening Campfire program on Saturday provides fun for all. Meals included in your Fall Family Adventure camper’s fee include Saturday breakfast, lunch and dinner and Sunday breakfast.

This session will fill up quickly. Once enough people respond that they are going, we can begin the registration process. We can add people until the camp fills.

Sign-up will be available on the pack sign-up genius. Registrations are final and refunds are limited as described below.

  1. First and last name, telephone number, and email for each attendee
  2. Classification: Adult or Youth (4 – 17 years old) or Sibling (0 – 3 years old)

DETAILS:

An evening Campfire program on Saturday provides fun for all. Meals included in your Fall Family Adventure camper’s fee include Saturday breakfast, lunch and dinner and Sunday breakfast. Bring a sack supper for the Friday evening meal or eat before you arrive. Also included in the camper fee are all program supplies and a patch for each paid participant.

THINGS TO REMEMBER:

All vehicles will be parked at the camp entrance. Walk down to Central Lodge to check in and see where your Pack is camping. You will be allowed to go to your campsite, unload your vehicle, and return the vehicle to the parking lot.

Please do not bring pets. We have enough critters already.

The Trading Post will be open for small purchases. We sell Sodas, Candy, Chips, and some Scouting paraphernalia. Everyone will want a Scout hiking staff! We also sell the GT hiking staff medallion. Special Council shoulder patches will be available celebrating 75 years of George Thomas.

WHAT TO BRING:

Tent, Sleeping Bag, Rain Gear, Warm Clothes, Favorite Camping Gear,

Sack Supper for your Friday evening meal, and of course,

Your Parent or Guardian and your family members.
